Britney Spears has changed the shade of her gorgeous locks many times, but the 'Scream & Shout' singer has stuck to two basic shades: blonde and brunette. Most recently, she swapped her long-standing towhead for a light brown hue, and we got to thinking: Do Brit's fans think she looks better as a blonde or a brunette?

Although we're sure all you Brit lovers could care less about the color topping her beautiful head, we've really grown more used to her as a blonde over the years. At the start of her career, she was more of a honey blonde, but as she got more and more famous, her hair got lighter and lighter. There's no denying Brit looks beautiful with the golden hue!

However, Spears is a lucky lady since she can rock dark hair as well, something not many women can do with ease. Although she's worn brown hair many time in the past in a variety of shades, Spears dyed it dark again in Feb. 2013, and this brown, almost auburn-tinted color is by far our favorite. But does it trump the blonde?
