Britney Spears joined Ryan Seacrest in the studio to talk about her forthcoming album, 'Femme Fatale,' but also confirmed that she will tour the US this summer.

The Louisiana-native-turned-pop-icon insists that she's just a normal person in today's On-Air with Ryan Seacrest interview -- and even showed up to the studio in sweats. Britney dished on her two-years-in-the-making new album (in stores March 29), which she says is a "really, really fun record."

To get her best work, Brit says she goes with what she knows. "I stick to a genre of people that I've worked with for awhile," she says, naming producer Max Martin. "And I actually experimented as well," she adds, dropping the name will.i.am -- whom she worked with on the track 'The Big Fat Bass.' Spears says she was extra excited to work with the Black Eyed Peas member, because she knew that Will would bring in an added level of energy.

"I'm a vibe person, and I think I love good mood songs," she indulges. Britney revealed to Seacrest that she knows a hit when she hears one -- although she changes the radio station whenever one of her own songs comes on on the car. "If it puts me in a good mood, it clicks for me," she adds.

'Hold It Against Me' premiered in January as the 'Femme Fatale' lead single, with the Kesha co-written 'Till the World Ends' (which Britney says is a personal favorite) as the second single.

"It's I think my best work yet, I love the album. I actually listened to it on the way over here," Britney admits. "It's definitely something that you want to work out to. It's definitely upbeat." Speaking of working out, Britney also revealed that she works out a lot with her personal trainer, who 'kicks her butt.'

That hard work will pay off when she hits the road in a few months. After a little nudging, Seacrest was able to get some firsthand tour info from Britney -- she confirms that she will tour the US this summer to promote 'Femme Fatale.' But first, she'll appear on 'Good Morning America' to perform a three-song montage on March 29.
