Britney Spears’ latest album and tour have launched the singer back into the limelight, and fans can't get enough of the pop star. Case in point: The arrival of an alternate version of 'Gimme More,' which surfaced on the Web on Monday (July 18).

The video, shot for the lead single from the 29-year-old's 2007 album 'Blackout,' features more of the singer's exotic dancer theme, only this time Spears hits the streets. Fans can see black-and-white footage of the 'Femme Fatale' songstress strutting her stuff in a mini halter dress and embellished boots.

More of Spears' stripper friends make it into the alternate video, which incorporates additional quick cuts and less double-vision shots than the initial version. The singer sheds more skin in new clip, but gone is the platinum wig she donned in the original, which currently boasts over 66 million views on YouTube.

'Gimme More' peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart in 2007. The platinum-selling single saw remixes by the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Kaskade and Junior Vasquez. Additionally, one version, the 'Kimme More Remix,' featured vocals by rapper Lil Kim.
