Following a breakout 2017, Cardi B certainly doesn't have any shortage of famous friends, but that didn't stop her from feeling starstruck while meeting her "real life idol" Madonna.

The "Bodak Yellow" rapper revealed on Instagram that she performed during Madge's Oscars after-party on Sunday night (March 4). In the post, she wrote that the pop icon had heavily her as a child: She grew up listening to Madonna's music with her mom, performed "Material Girl" during her freshman year of high school, and still regularly plays her songs during photoshoots.

"I can’t even believe i performed at her event and it was the most meaningful performance ever," Cardi captioned a photo of her, Madonna, and Migos' Quavo and Offset, the latter of whom is her fiancé. "The best part about it is she was everything i thought she would be a Liberal Kick ass feminist bitch. I’m soo happy."

Madonna and Cardi's stylist, Kollin Carter, shared posts from the event, too. "Love this girl so much!! Thank you @iamcardib for shining your light at the party last night!" Madge tweeted.

During the party, Madonna also teased an upcoming skincare collaboration with Kim Kardashian, who launched KKW Beauty last June. Madonna, meanwhile, established MDNA Skin company stateside in September.
