It takes a lot of guts for women in the entertainment industry to go without makeup, so it may surprise you to know that most of these pictures were willfully shared via social networking sites and behind-the-scenes footage. More power to these gals!

As you can probably tell from these pictures of celebrities without makeup, superstar songstress Lady Gaga is a natural beauty. She can be completely makeup free and still look camera ready -- the same goes for fellow female divas like the ever gorgeous Jordin Sparks, Latina siren Shakira, the always beautiful Beyonce, super adorable Jessie J, rock 'n' roll flower child Kesha, and the list goes on and on.

You can't really look beautiful onstage with a face full of makeup if you aren't already a knockout to begin with. Makeup is all about enhancing the looks you were born with, and even when these celebrities decide to go makeup-free, we still think they all look beautiful. Stepping out without makeup is basically putting yourself on a chopping block, but we refuse to bring these ladies down -- it's a daring move that shows strong character and serious self-confidence.
