In this pairing, we've got the gorgeous Charli XCX and duo La Roux battling it out for the best British electronic artist. Both are known for their synth pop, but have their own unique look and sound. Let's get started...

First up, we have 20-year-old Charli XCX, who reinvented the way we listen to synth pop with her debut LP, 'True Romance.' A little bit goth mixed with dance-pop and new wave, she's achieved some positive recognition with the psycheldeic chorus-driven 'Nuclear Seasons,' as well as the sinister and old-school, Madonna-sounding 'Stay Away.' But most will probably recognize her contribution to Icona Pop's 'I Love It,' which is sitting pretty on the Top 10 charts at the moment. If this is just the beginning, well, we can't wait to hear what other songs this gal's gonna pen.

Then there's La Roux, who can be mistaken as a solo act, but are actually a duo comprised of frontwoman Elly Jackson and and her co-writer / co-producer Ben Langmaid. It was their 2009 debut album that garnered them quite favorable reviews; the LP features the haunting and futuristic single 'In for the Kill,' which reached platinum status in the U.K. before topping the dance chart in the U.S. There are a slew of remix versions, produced by the likes of Kanye West and Skrillex. That was followed by the more dance-driven 'Bulletproof,' which garnered them even more success in the U.S. Additoinally, their album earned them a Grammy in 2011 in the Best Electronic/Dance Album category.

So who will you vote for? You have until July 17 at 2PM EST to decide Charli XCX or La Roux's fate!
