Chris Brown’s Probation Is Revoked
Chris Brown has just had his probation revoked in his domestic violence case with Rihanna, TMZ reports.
The newly blonde singer was in court today, Dec. 16, for a progress hearing. The judge overseeing his case ruled that Brown's probation be revoked due to the recent assault charges against him. (In October, Brown and his bodyguard spent a night in jail after punching a man in the nose.) Though the judge did not order Brown to serve jail time -- believing that he is progressing in his anger management rehab -- another hearing will be held in February, and it is possible the singer will have to serve some time then.
After the October incident, Brown has been in rehab in order to treat his issues with violence. In the treatment facility, the controversial singer supposedly put up a fuss over giving up his medical marijuana -- a substance which the judge has now forbid him to use.
We'll see what happens in February. We wish the best for Chris Brown, and hope that his time in rehab is giving him greater insight to his behavior so that he does not harm those around him.
