Ed Sheeran Hits Us With Britney Spears Acoustic Cover

Ed Sheeran has teamed up with streaming juggernaut Spotify to deliver a stripped-down cover of Britney Spears' career-launching 1998 single, "...Baby One More Time."

Recorded at Spotify's NYC headquarters, the artist gives the bubblegum bop a folksy rock edge. Listen below:

His Spotify acoustic session isn't the first time the Brit has covered the, uh, Brit Brit song, however: Back in 2013, Sheeran sang the smash pop hit backstage for a radio show. Watch:
