How's this for throwback Thursday? We've just learned that two fan favorite Boy Meets World characters will be returning to the fold on Disney's reboot of the iconic sitcom.

William Daniels and Will Friedle will reprise their roles as Mr. Feeny and Eric Matthews, respectively, on upcoming episodes of Girl Meets World, a current show that revolves around the misadventures of Cory and Topanga's daughter, Riley.

Mr. Feeny will appear on the show's May 11 and May 14 episodes, "Girl Meets Pluto" and "Girl Meets Gravity," according to Entertainment Weekly. The latter episode will reportedly also feature Rider Strong as Shawn Hunter. In this episode, Riley and her best friend, Maya, (who shares certain similarities with Shawn from the original series) travel to Philadelphia with Cory, Topanga and Shawn to dig up a time capsule.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Eric's character will appear on the May 15 episode of the show, which is titled "Girl Meets Mr. Squirrels," a title longtime fans of Boy Meets World will immediately understand. In a nod to a major episode of Boy Meets World, Eric will serve as mediator between Riley and Maya when they get into a huge fight — remember when Eric brought the original gang back together after they had a massive feud?

Entertainment Weekly also reports that Trine McGee (Angela Moore), Blake Clark (Chet Hunter) and Anthony Tyler Quinn (Mr. Turner) will  appear on the spinoff series as well, which will air a new episode every night for the entire first week of the second season. Of course, Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel are series regulars and will appear as usual.
