Rumors continue to circle Halsey and her reported new boyfriend, rising UK musician Yungblud. Even if a "source" maybe allegedly told E! News the two artists are keeping things casual, the pair are so cute together we can't help but think positive thoughts.

But, who IS Yungblud? Let's take a closer look.

Yungblud, born Dominic Harrison, is a 21-year-old artist from the town of Doncaster in South Yorkshire, England. The musician on the rise is a multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass, piano, and drums, in addition to singing. It's impossible to label him any one genre, as his music dabbles in everything from hard rock to hip-hop to reggae, with hooks and melodies ripe for radio.

With song titles like "Anarchist" and "Machine Gun (F**k the NRA)," it's pretty clear Yungblud isn't afraid to be political. He told NME earlier this month, "the root of me, the core of me is political... I always like to know what’s going on in the world because if we remain uneducated then we have to remain silent and if we have to remain silent then we’re just f-cked." The UK native also called Brexit "f-cking ridiculous" and "built on a foundation of lies."

The British singer-songwriter first got attention in 2017 with the songs "King Charles," which was featured in Hulu and Marvel's Runaways, and  "I Love You, Will You Marry Me," which hit No. 26 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart.

The songs would also appear on Yungblud's self-titled debut EP, released in January of 2018. Also on that EP was the track "Tin Pan Boy," which would later be included on the season 2 soundtrack to Netflix's hit series 13 Reasons Why in mid 2018. Impressively, Yungblud had a second song on the soundtrack, "Falling Skies" with Charlotte Lawrence.

Soon after Yungblud began releasing new music from his official debut album, 21st Century Liability, which dropped in early July 2018. First up was the audio of the album's title track, then came "Psychotic Kids," released in May of this year.

The official music video for "Psychotic Kids" was Yungblud's first video to hit a million views on YouTube, and currently at 1.6 million. It is also currently his most viewed video.

The week after his debut album dropped in July, Yungblud released the music video for single "Medication," which became his second video to hit a million views, and currently his second most-popular video, garnering 1.5 million views and counting.

Just this past October, Yungblud released the video for his acoustic-guitar based single "Kill Somebody," the latest single off 21st Century Liability. The UK artist has also released an Unplugged EP in August of this year, featuring acoustic versions of a handful of the tracks off his debut album.

This fall Yungblud ventured out on tours across the United Kingdom and United States, playing in many large cities. He also performed at multiple music festivals around the world in 2018. Earlier this month he played Mexico's Corona Capital 2018, in October he played at Austin City Limits in Texas and at California Jam in San Bernadino.

Over the summer Yungblood took the stage at Chicago's famous Lollapalooza fest, Las Vegas' Live is Beautiful fest, Italy's Live Rock Festival, the UK's famous Reading and Leeds Festivals, and more music festivals across Europe. It's already been announced he'll be returning to Reading and Leads in 2019.

So what's next for Yungblud?

Next week, on December 3rd, he's playing London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall, opening for Muse. Plus, fans won't have to wait too long for Yungblud's next album, as he told NME recently he's already in the middle of recording his sophomore album. "I'm nearly done with the new record. I just know exactly what I want to say, especially with being on tour, on the road so much, meeting and connecting to my actual fan base," he revealed.
