Hilary Duff just keeps getting us excited about the upcoming Lizzie McGuire reboot. On Thursday (October 24), the actress revealed via Instagram that her fictional family would be returning along with her for the new series.

"we are standing in what will soon be the McGuire living room. What’s up fam. We doin this" she captioned a photo of her standing alongside Hallie Todd, Robert Carradine, and Jake Thomas. Todd played Jo, Lizzie's mom, Carradine played her dad Sam, and Thomas played her obnoxious little brother Matt.

Duff announced the reboot in August during the D23 expo. "The good news is, is just like me and everybody who loved Lizzie and has grown up with her, Lizzie is also grown up,” she said at the time. “She’s older, she’s wiser, she has a much bigger shoe budget, which is super exciting. She has her dream job. She has kind of the perfect life right now."

The spin-off will follow its titular character as a 30-year-old millennial trying to navigate life in New York City. The original creator Terri Minsky is signed on as the showrunner.

"I've been a big part of the process with Terri Minsky and the creative process of where [Lizzie has] been and where she's going and, really, it's a dream come true," Duff shared during an interview with ET in August.
Though we don't have many details yet the new series will air on Disney+.
