Jennifer Aniston has a preferred method of traveling and that includes staying on the ground.

"I have an extreme fear of flying," the TV icon told Travel + Leisure magazine.

Before boarding a plane, the actress will typically superstitiously touch the aircraft with her right palm and step aboard with her right foot.

“But I have been doing some hypnosis lately, and one of the requirements is to remove all of those superstitions. I have not been doing the right hand, right foot [thing anymore] — and now it’s shockingly good!" she continued.

To curb her fear, Aniston plugs "into a good meditation" and gets up periodically to stretch or walk.

When preparing for a trip, the Friends alum admitted that she tends to bring more items than necessary.

“I’ve been trying so hard to become an under-packer because I am notoriously an over-packer. You just don’t know where you’re going to be on a certain day, or what mood you’re going to be in," Aniston told the outlet, explaining why she brings more clothing than needed for a trip.

There are some perks to stuffing one's suitcase, though.

"My girlfriends really appreciate me because they can usually borrow all of my things that they have forgotten. I’m providing a service!" she shared.

Aniston is an avid traveler as she believes there's more to life than "just this little bubble" we’re in.

"It’s all very important and expands our awareness greater than what we’re confined to," she added.
