Justin Bieber Admits He Is ‘In Love’ with Selena Gomez

Justin Bieber is acknowledging what has seemed obvious for quite a while - he is "in love" with his girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

"I wouldn't be with somebody if I wasn't in love," Bieber tells New! magazine, via MTV UK. He adds that the couple's relationship in based on a lot more than good looks: "Everybody can see she is hot and that's great, but there is so much more to her than that. She makes me laugh and she puts up with my practical jokes."

Teen pop's power couple have more in common than just being accomplished singers. "We were both raised by our moms in single-parent households," Bieber adds, "and that's given us a lot of the same family values in life."

The 'Never Say Never' performer says that he and Gomez have busy schedules but make it a priority to plan "normal things" together. Of course, "normal" is relative when you're a multi-platinum pop sensation -- so while a typical couple might head to the local theater to catch a film, Justin and Selena rent out the entire Staples Center for a movie date or go on stage to sing together in front of thousands of people.

In the constant glare of the spotlight, it's cool to see these kids continue to make their relationship work, with seemingly no public drama.
