Get the Scoop on Katy Perry’s ‘Prismatic World Tour Live’ DVD

In the event you thought last night's MTV Video Music Awards didn't offer enough color and you could have done with at least a few more fireworks, Katy Perry's got you covered.

The singer, who will be joined by Tinashe on the next leg of her Prismatic World tour, is set to release a DVD from her latest show series in October, according to Rolling Stone. The Prismatic World Tour Live will center on a December 2014 show in Sydney, Australia at the Allphones Arena. By its release, Perry will have been on the road for a year and a half.

Like Perry's current production, Prismatic will be divided into seven installments and include a half-hour of behind-the-scenes footage and bonus extras. Russell Thomas will direct the piece, which will officially be available on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download on October 30.

Katy offered a brief sneak peek of what's to come on her Instagram account today (August 31) in which she assumes the roles of gladiator, neon-pink leopard and a clown who's consumed by balloons. "May I welcome you to the Prismatic World tour!" she bellows in a sentiment that registers more like a demand than a question.
