The sixth time could be the history-making charm for Katy Perry.

Billboard reports that the singer and her label Capitol Records are releasing a sixth single from 'Teenage Dream' in the form of 'The One That Got Away.' The single will hit radio sometime next month.  Perry is staring down a spot in the history books by releasing a sixth single. If the song goes to No. 1, like the five predecessors from the album have done, she will be the first artist to notch six No. 1 singles from a single album. It's not easy to do, and Perry is only the second artist in history to achieve this feat.

Right now, Perry is tied with Michael Jackson with five singles at No. 1. Jackson had five No. 1s with 'Bad' on the Billboard Hot 100.

The previous chart toppers from 'Teenage Dream' are as follows: 'California Gurls,' 'Teenage Dream,' 'Firework,' 'E.T.' and 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' With that type of track record, it's entirely possible and feasible that Perry will get that coveted sixth No. 1 with 'The One That Got Away.' Hopefully, this record won't be one that gets away from Perry. Let's hope the song doesn't stall on the charts.

Good luck Katy! The old saying is that well-behaved women rarely make history. Katy is a rebellious, edgy pop star and we know she has it in her to make history.
