Kelly Clarkson Lost Her Voice After Giving Birth, Thought She Would Never Sing Again

Kelly Clarkson has opened up before about how difficult her pregnancy was, but it looks like the days following the birth of her daughter, River Rose, saw her losing her voice -- and she almost thought her career was over!

According to US Weekly, she said, "Afterwards was the part where I literally had a moment where I cried and drank wine all day. I was like, 'Oh, God, I'm not going to be a singer anymore!'" She went on to say, "I was bawling to my husband and completely hammered, just going, 'Oh my God, it's over. I don't know what I'm going to do.'"

Thankfully, Kelly's powerhouse vocals returned better than ever, and she's set to release her first album in nearly four years -- titled 'Piece by Piece' -- on March 3rd. But what if her voice really hadn't returned? Kelly kind of thought about it, saying, "I guess I could do more charity work. I didn't know what I was going to do."
