Kylie Jenner Adopts Bunny, Names It Bruce
Kylie Jenner just added another addition to the already enormous Kardashian (and Jenner) clan, but this time it's in the form of a pet rabbit she named...Bruce.
Videos of Kylie driving home from the pet store with her fuzzy new family member popped up online after Pia Mia -- who was relegated to the backseat, in order to make way for Bruce and his temporary cardboard shelter in the passenger seat -- shared them on Snapchat. Bruce, whose name is clearly a nod to Caitlyn Jenner, is small and grey and doesn't do much, like most bunnies.
It's a pretty big undertaking to have a pet rabbit -- they're not quite as low maintenance as your typical house cat, and you arguably don't get as much of an emotional reward from them as you would from a dog. Rabbits are notoriously messy, constantly defecating on your entire life and can be insanely temperamental. Plus, they destroy everything they mistake for food, which is basically any chewy object near them.
They're also soft like cotton and grossly adorable — so the appeal is understanding, but when you have a schedule as busy as any celebrity's, taking in a pet rabbit is probably not the wisest decision to make. Can you even imagine Kylie cleaning her rabbit's scent glands?
There's also the fact that the family's pets tend to vanish from all social media and episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians shortly after their initial acquisition. Kylie's dogs, Norman and Bambi, are still around, but most of the family's pets are eventually handed over to various members on their team, never to be seen again.
What do you guys think about Kylie's new pet? Will Bruce meet the same fate as Khloe's dog Bernard, reportedly given away to her assistant? Or do you not care and actually low-key hate animals like a serial killer?
