If this One Direction thing ever goes south (we shudder at the thought) at least we know Liam Payne has the option of a solid career as a DJ ahead of him. Avicii, who?

Going by the artfully crafted nickname 'DJ Payno,' Liam decided to take on the huge feat of remixing 'I Don't Care' -- the new single from 'X Factor' judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (formerly Cheryl Cole). Perhaps inspired by his recent stay in Miami (One Direction's last stop on their Where We Are tour was in the famed party city), Liam chose to give the track a serious dance vibe -- perfect for some late night clubbing with the boys. Not that fellow bandmate, 20-year-old Harry Styles, would know anything about clubbing, of course.

Cheryl took to Twitter to gush about the remix (posted above) from the former 'X Factor' contestant, saying: "thanks Payno I love it" interspersed with the appropriate emojis, of course.

This isn't the first time Liam has delighted fans with his remixes. Typically sticking to One Direction songs, Liam released mixes of both 'Steal My Girl' and 'You and I,' and it looks like he has more planned. According to SugarScape, Liam has partnered up with Talenthouse in search of professional producers to properly remix 'Steal My Girl.' He said, of the project:

"I really enjoyed remixing 'Steal My Girl' with Afterhrs, I love seeing just how different the track can sound and I’d really love to see other people’s interpretations of it too – that’s why we decided to run the competition. I’ve done quite a chilled version, would be great to see an upfront Friday night club track to get everyone on the dance floor moving."

Liam -- if you're bored -- maybe consider leaking the entirety of 'Four?' Just a thought.
