Liam Payne of One Direction Insults Boy George on Twitter

New feud alert. Liam Payne of One Direction is Twitter tiffing with flamboyant Culture Club singer Boy George, who was a huge star in the '80s, when Liam was just a twinkle in Papa Payne's eye. Apparently, George took his niece to the BRIT Awards last night (Feb. 20) and asked some of the 1D boys to get a pic with her. Apparently, only Harry Styles obliged, and according to George, Payne was not nice to him.

That prompted a reply from Liam, who then insulted the singer, saying he looks weird. He also cleared up what appears to be a case of mistaken identity, saying that George wanted a pic with Niall Horan and not him, so he kept going. If George had asked for a pic with him, Payne would have done so. Sounds like Boy George can't keep his 1D members straight.

We are piecing this together from the tweets. Below is the blow-by-blow of the men's Twitter blowout, which was anything but a tete a tete. It seems that George thinks Styles will bounce from 1D first, and that Liam and 1D's handler were not cool.

Below are George's tweets. First, he thanked Harry and dissed Liam. Then he suggests Harry will be outtie sooner than later.

It's still not cool you just look weird.

George then replied.

If his niece is a Directioner, she is likely bummed that her uncle is duking it out in 140 characters with Liam Payne or psyched that someone in 1D is talking to her family.
