After months of eagerly waiting, fans finally get to hear Lucy Hale's debut album, 'Road Between.' In an UpClose interview with Taste of Country, the singer explained exactly why the full-length project shows the "real" Lucy.

"It's my first album. It's the first time people are being introduced to Lucy," she said. "A lot of people know me from 'Pretty Little Liars' or other acting work that I've done, but a lot of people don't know me and the things that I've been through so far."

With songs like the confident 'You Sound Good to Me,' the powerful title track 'Road Between' and the vulnerable 'Nervous Girls,' it's clear that Lucy is ready for fans to see all sides of herself.

"It's a snapshot of where I am in life, but I think we captured that," she added. "That's the cool thing about music. You can literally write about everything. There is no right or wrong answer."
