Did you know Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher once brought their respective Friends With Benefits/No Strings Attached movie plots to life?

Detailing her and husband Kutcher's early sparks of romance while appearing on Dax Shepard's episode of Armchair Expert back in July, Kunis said that the reason she and Kutcher initially kept things low-key was because "there were a lot of misconceptions about [his] divorce" from Demi Moore back in 2013.

"And because he's very private and respectful he wasn't going to go and say anything and so he kind of just let rumors be rumors. And so people believed the rumors. He ate it...People had a weird perception of who he was. It didn't matter to me because I knew the truth," she continued.

Since getting together officially, Kunis has spoken about her and the actor's early days of non-exclusivity on various talk shows over the years, but during a 2016 appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden, The Spy Who Dumped Me star revealed that after her and Kutcher's first one night stand, they "literally shook hands."

"We were like, 'We're going to have fun because we're both single and young,'" she explained, later divulging on podcast WTF With Marc Maron that their rule was that "once one of us starts having any sort of attachment feelings we have to start talking about it."

"Not quash it, you have to talk about it," she said. "Because that way if the other person by any chance shares those feelings or not, we don't become resentful towards one another."

And of course, those attachment feelings formed: Kunis shared how she was the first one to admit to her budding feelings, and how her admission ultimately resulted in Kutcher showing up on her doorstep and asking her to move in with him.

"He showed up at my house and he was like, 'Let's move in together. I'm not going to lose you,'" she told Maron.

The rest, as they say, is Hollywood history.
