Miley Cyrus is all grown up, as her latest Marie Claire cover shows. Check out those bedroom eyes and that tousled hair. There's no glitter or teenybopper accessories here. She's fully decked out in fashion forward attire and is a to-be-married woman, so she has to be more mature. But she never sacrifices her style.

Cyrus, 19, covers the September issue and appears in a variety of high fashion outfits throughout the spread. Gone is the Hannah Montana persona, swapped out in favor of shorter, bedhead hair and a variety of glamorous ensembles featuring jewels and feathers. She was shot outside, with mountains and dust serving as the backdrop, mixing gorgeous and glam with with earthy and rugged.

Cyrus is outfitted in a corseted dress (that's the one with the feathers) and a color-blocked one, to name a few. "My style has not changed that much. I like the same things. I've gotten a little more comfortable with my style," she said in the BTS footage.

In the accompanying story, Cyrus' downhome nature is revealed, as she is surrounded by five dogs, four of which were rescues. Her bulldog Ziggy noshed on two Jacquie Aiche bracelets, which she ate right off owner's wrist. "She's a stubborn little b----, that one," the notorious dog lover said. "She doesn't listen to me. She's in love with Liam. She loves me when he's gone, but she totally ate my diamonds on purpose. She was pooping them out all morning!"

Ha! Looks like Cyrus' dog loves her fiancé, actor Liam Hemsworth, as much as Cyrus herself. The couple resides in a whopping, 8,000 square-foot abode formerly occupied by Cyrus' family. The fam moved two doors down, so they're nearby. Her famous neighbor is Diddy. "It's kind of like a black hole. And no one is going to f--- with me when P. Diddy lives right across the street," the teen said about her secluded dwelling.

Cyrus didn't share how Hemsworth asked for her hand earlier this summer, only commenting that it was a total surprise to her. Not even her parents, with whom she is close, saw it coming. Therefore the 3.5 carat, yellow-gold Neil Lane rock she sports featured absolutely no stylistic input from the singer/actress. It was all Hemsworth's doing.

"We'd been kind of talking about [getting engaged], and I saw something like it online at one point and thought it was really pretty, but I usually wear rose gold," she said. "I just love that it's old and has a story. And I'm happy because it doesn't look like anything else I wear."

"I know this is what I want for my life," she said in the BTS vid about her engagement and critics who think she is too young to wed. We love a girl who knows what she wants.

The issue drops on Sept. 17. In the meantime, check out the behind-the-scenes footage below, where she reveals the trait she likes least about herself ("I get upset and can't let things go.") And revisit her last Marie Cover cover, too.
