One Direction Talk Using ‘Personal Experience’ for Songwriting, Perform ‘Night Changes’ [VIDEOS]

Directioners, if you're anything like us, you can't get enough of One Direction's 'Four.' Luckily, the band continued their promo run in Holland, performing tracks and talking about "new experiences."

Other highlights of the appearance include One Direction talking their songwriting process, with Liam explaining, "That's the thing about this album that people can relate to the most, is that personal experience that we had or that we think the people will have had as well."

Being relatable is a major factor for the band's song, according to Louis. "When we write, we're not that specific," he said. "We try to keep it vague so people can relate to it."

Of course, the band also performed their new single, 'Night Changes,' as well as a slightly older favorite, 'Story of My Life.'
