One Direction have pretty much launched the British Boy Band Invasion of 2012 and it continues to gain momentum like a heatseeking missile. The Fab Five made an appearance on 'iCarly' recently, and that guest spot left such an impression on Nickelodeon execs that the powers-that-be now want to give the boys their own show.

According to Ryan Seacrest, the busiest man in show biz, One Direction will cross the pond for Nickelodeon's annual Kids' Choice Awards ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on March 31. That is reportedly when they will sit down and hammer out the specifics of a possible TV deal. One Direction fans really have reason to scream and squeal with joy, since their heroes continue to do new and exciting things.

Can you imagine a One Direction TV show, Directioners? Does this give Nickelodeon's resident boy band Big Time Rush something to worry about? Nah. There's enough room for two boy bands from two different countries on the kid's network. Besides, there's nothing wrong with a little healthy competition.
