The Golden Globes were a great night for Rami Malek. He took home the award for Best Actor for his portrayal of iconic Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, while the film took home the trophy for Best Motion Picture.

There was one awkward moment for Rami, however – When Nicole Kidman unknowingly snubbed the actor on live television.

Rami himself hadn't actually seen the cringe-worthy footage of Kidman (accidentally) turned her back on him as he tried to greet her on stage, despite Twitter buzzing about the moment the rest of the night.

That is, until Jimmy Kimmel forced him to relive it last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Below, at just about two minutes in, watch Malek see what TV audiences across the world saw, for the first time, including his hilarious, visibly embarrassed reaction.

"I had not seen that," Malek says after covering his face with his hand. "I've known her for man years, despite [what] it may seem from that video. I thought I could easily go up and say 'hi'...very awkward," the actor says explaining the snub. "I have a feeling this is probably haunting me on the Internet."

You are spot-on, Mr. Malek.

Above, watch the full Kimmel clip, including Rami telling a story of meeting Paul McCartney backstage after a concert, and which rock stars have seen Bohemian Rhapsody.
