What use is a 'California King Bed' if your house is shoddy? Rihanna doesn't want to find out. She's putting her money pit of a home on the market.

Rihanna paid nearly $7 million for a Beverly Hills pad in 2009 -- and she's selling the home for less. The Hollywood Reporter says RiRi's home is listed at $4.5 million, netting her a loss of roughly $2.4 million. Even if you're as rich as Rihanna, that's still a not-so-pretty penny.

Why so cheap? Well, acording to Rihanna -- and her lawyers -- anyone who lived in the house likely needed umbrella-ella-ellas indoors. After a rainstorm in 2010, water leaked into several rooms of the eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom house, causing the 'We Found Love' singer to declare it uninhabitable.

Rihanna filed a lawsuit in September against Prudential California Reality, Landmark Design Group and several other companies that designed and inspected the home. The case states that the companies failed to disclose the waterproofing and landscaping defects that eventually led to the extensive damage.

The financial mishap is the latest in a roller coaster month for RiRi. She had to cancel several Swedish tour dates because of the flu and was ordered to party less -- but also broke one of Madonna's chart records, scored another hit with her Coldplay collaboration 'Princess of China,' and settled a lawsuit over plagiarism in her 'S&M' video.

Here's hoping her next home is safe and dry!
