Selena Gomez Gets Drilled by Ellen DeGeneres About Relationship With Justin Bieber

In September of last year, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were making news headlines as the pair were frequently spotted out in public together. During that time, Gomez appeared on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' where she brushed off their budding romance as simply being friends.

"He's little. He's like my little brother," Gomez told the talk show host last year.

This week, the singer-actress returned to 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' where the host once again asked about their relationship: "He's like your little brother?" DeGeneres questions. "What do you have to say now?"

"I don't know ... I don't know," a blushing Gomez responds. "He's just sweet."

DeGeneres did her part in prying, bringing up the recent Oscar party the two attended together, as well as the fact that they are both two high-profile celebrities who can't "hide" from the media.

"He's sweet as can be, but he's not like your little brother, is he?" DeGeneres asks as Gomez continues to giggle and squirm in her seat. "No, he's not. And he's a fantastic guy. You can't try to hide that forever. A little brother is not someone you want to date."

"Well, no," Gomez carefully says. "That would be weird."

"That would be wrong and weird in so many ways," adds DeGeneres.

Gomez is gearing up to launch her new tour that runs throughout the summer. One trick up Gomez's sleeve will include a special tribute to Britney Spears.
