Selena Gomez Signs With Interscope Records
Congratulations to Selena Gomez -- she has signed a new record deal!
'The Heart Wants What It Wants' singer shared the good news via Instagram, snapping a selfie while signing some pretty official looking papers.
"Guess who's officially an Interscope artist," Selena captioned the pic, smiley face and all. "##thisiswhatdreamsaremadeof."
Whether or not she was quoting her on purpose, the hashtag totally reminds us of the Hilary Duff song by the same name. And, like Hilary -- who officially left Hollywood Records (part of the Disney Music Group) in March -- Selena is also leaving Hollywood (Records, that is) behind.
Selena's new music venture is just the latest change in the actress/pop star's life: She is no longer dating Justin Bieber and has become more raw and emotional in her music than she ever has before. Selena has been reflecting on the past year while also moving forward in her life, both in her career and in her personal life. She seems to be in a really good place right now, and we couldn't be happier for her!
