Song of the Year – 2012 PopCrush Music Awards

It was next to impossible to sift through all of the amazing songs that have impacted this year, so we just decided to include 20+ of this year's best tracks! This way, fans can decide which tune deserves the prestigious 'Song of the Year' title by voting in the 2012 PopCrush Music Awards.

Although she was absent most of the year post Grammys, Adele still managed to release one of the most gorgeous tracks of 2012 with her 007 theme 'Skyfall.' She's followed by Alicia Keys, who is reppin' for strong woman everywhere with 'Girl on Fire.' Bruno Mars is also in the running with his reggae-infused jam 'Locked Out of Heaven,' and Carly Rae Jepsen is of course included with her viral hit 'Call Me Maybe.'

Additionally, Flo Rida is up for the Song of the Year with his chart topper 'Whistle,' while indie-pop trio fun. are nominated for their spirited single 'Some Nights.' Speaking of alt acts, Gotye's inescapable smash 'Somebody That I Used to Know,' which completely took over the airwaves throughout most of 2012, is also up for Song of the Year.
