Taylor Swift may be dropping her new album 'Red' in 2012 (Oct. 22 to be exact), but she plans to hit the road and support the album with a tour in the spring of 2013. Taylor's returning to the road sooner than you'd think!

''I really want to go out on the road in the spring," Swift said. She also revealed that she considers her live show when she pens a tune. "After I write a song, I always end up laying awake at night thinking, 'What are the lighting cues going to be on this? How big is the pit going to be?'"

Swift is a gal who plans ahead and who sees the whole picture when it comes to her songs and how she will perform them in the live setting. She's already getting excited, saying, ''I have been thinking of some big moments that are going to happen.''

Big moments, huh?

Well, since Swift brilliantly invited local artists on stage with her during the 'Speak Now' tour and covered songs by regional acts in the cities in which she performed, she is going to have to come up with some pretty big ideas to top herself.

But this is T. Swift we're talking about. She can do anything she puts her mind to. And she rarely disappoints.
