Taylor Swift made her grand return to country music (well, sorta) at the 50th Annual Country Music Association's Awards Show in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (November 2).

Following a three-year hiatus from the CMA Awards—she last attended in 2013, and though her pop crossover album, 1989, was nominated for an award in 2014, she did not attend that year—Swift was on hand to present iconic country artist Garth Brooks with the Entertainer of the Year Award.

While introducing the musician onstage, the pop star addressed the time she spent in Nashville early in her career as a country artist, telling the crowd, "It’s been almost thirteen years since I came to Nashville with a dream of being a songwriter and a recording artist."

"I learned so much about what it means to be an entertainer from the remarkable artists in this arena tonight," she added. "That’s just one of the reasons I feel so honored to present this next award to any one of these five outstanding nominees for Entertainer of the Year and be a part of this historic night we’ll all remember."

In 2013, Swift took home the Pinnacle Award (an honor Brooks has also received), the International Artist Achievement Award, the Music Video of the Year Award and the Music Event of the Year Award.

That year, she was also nominated for four other awards: Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year and Single of the Year for "Highway Don't Care" with Tim McGraw and Keith Urban.
