Taylor Swift Stalker Caught Outside Pop Star’s Home, Reportedly Told Cops He Wanted to Marry Her
A crazed Taylor Swift fan was detained outside Swift's Westerly, Rhode Island home early Wednesday morning (August 28).
Law enforcement sources told TMZ exclusively that the man was trying to enter through the gate at Swift's house.
According to a witness, before the cops arrived the man claimed he was talking to Swift on the phone and insisted he was going to marry the pop star.
He left his white pickup truck, which contained an American flag, an inflatable mattress and black marker writing inside the interior of the vehicle, at the scene. On the side of the truck, he drew angels along with the words, "Almighty God."
The man, who is not a repeat offender and whose identity has not yet been revealed, reportedly did not have any weapons on his person. He was later sent to a nearby hospital for a mental health evaluation.
This isn't Swift's first run-in with male fans trying to enter one of her homes, unfortunately. A number of obsessed individuals have attempted to gain access to her various homes over the past few years.
