When Taylor Swift surprised fans by dropping her new single 'Shake It Off' yesterday, we thought the title sounded a little familiar -- that's because Mariah Carey also has a hit with the same name! Whose 'Shake It Off' is better?

We couldn't be more obsessed with Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' if we tried. The song is super upbeat and a step above her 'Red' hits like 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' and '22.' Besides the fact that the song is insanely catchy (and we can't stop singing it), we love the deeper meaning behind the tune: shake off those haters! And Taylor not only does it with a smile on her face, she also takes a lighthearted jab at the haters who say she dates too many guys. You tell 'em, girl!

Mariah Carey totally gets props for being the originator of 'Shake It Off,' coming out with the smash in 2005. Carey's version of the synonymous track is seriously smooth, slow, and sexy -- a total R&B vibe. The track is almost 10 years old, but it definitely stands the test of time. Just listen to Mariah's killer vocals! It doesn't get better than that.
