You Season 2 has an official release date.

On Monday (November 11), Netflix confirmed the creepy thriller will be released on December 26 — just in time for the holiday break and exactly one year after the series made its debut on the streaming platform. The announcement was made alongside a never-before-seen promotional poster that sees Joe Golberg (Penn Badgley), his ex Candace Stone (Ambyr Childers) and his new love interest, Love Quinn, played actress Victoria Pedretti.

"Joe’s back, but where? YOU S2 December 26," Netflix teased.

The former Gossip Girl star also shared a teaser on Twitter, writing, "Ready for a fresh start."

You Season 2 will see Joe move to Los Angeles after killing his girlfriend Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail) and according to co-creator Sera Gamble, viewers will get a glimpse at the murderous character's childhood.

"We'll be going into Joe's early life in season two, and naturally we want to know more and move around in his entire life," she told Cosmopolitan UK. "I will say that the whole time we're in the writers' room talking about what that story could be, or what flashbacks or glimpses into his life we might catch, this has been a guiding principle for us; he had a pretty terrible childhood and that does contribute to who he is as an adult."

"But we also wanted to make it clear that a lot of us had shitty childhoods and most of us don't do what Joe Goldberg does — we're trying to walk that line," Gamble added.

See you on Boxing Day, everyone!
