Alice Glass is celebrating a court victory against Crystal Castles ex-bandmate Ethan Kath.

On Friday (February 23), the "Without Love" soloist (born Margaret Osborn) declared her triumph in court against Kath (born Claudio Palmieri) — her former music partner and alleged abuser — after the vilification lawsuit facing her was dropped.

“I won in court today!! the defamation lawsuit against me was dismissed!” Glass tweeted. "Thank you so much for the love and support throughout this ugly process."

The defamation suit, first registered by Kath last November, was in rejoinder to the string of public accusations of sexual misconduct cited by the 29-year-old in an open letter shared on her website back in October. Both Kath and his legal team denied all allegations of sexual abuse and harassment.

In the statement in question, Glass intimates that upon meeting each other in the 10th grade (around the time Crystal Castles had formed), the 40-year-old producer would often administer drugs and alcohol, and engage in sex acts which she recalled were not always consensual. She was 15 at the time.

As the band grew in popularity, Glass stated her bandmate would become more physically violent toward her, which she also detailed in her letter.

"He held me over a staircase and threatened to throw me down it," the singer detailed in her report. "He picked me up over his shoulders and threw me onto concrete. He took pictures of my bruises and posted them online. I tried to leave, and he swore that it would never happen again, that he would never physically abuse me again. More severe psychological and emotional abuse took its place."

In 2014, after an eight-year period with the group accountable for cult-favorite alternative anthems like "Not in Love," "Plague," and "Wrath of God," Glass declared her departure from the band in a Facebook message that October, which seemed to allude to creative restrictions.

Last November, Glass revealed she'd been served a court summons after her show in Chicago by one of Kath's reps who posed as a fan for allegations of "pure fiction."

“This is a victory for survivors of abuse and sexual misconduct in countries where abusers use the court system to further victimize and keep people silent,” the songwriter tweeted after her victory. “WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED.“
