And just as quickly as Ariana Grande's new album came into focus, it's all gone a little fuzzy again—the singer says her forthcoming LP will have a totally different sound than its lead single.

This morning (November 5), during an interview with the United Kingdom's KISS, Grande explained that Moonlight will ultimately go in a different direction than "Focus," even though she thinks Jamie Foxx's feature on the song is "cool."

"That's why I put 'Focus' first, because it's the only one that sort of sounds like that," she explains above. "I've been putting little snippets on my Snapchat here and there of a couple things, but I can't say yet because it's not done."

Grande says she plans to spend a bulk of the next three months focusing exclusively on finalizing the project, but when December 25 rolls around, hopes she can take a break for her lone Christmas wish.

"I'd really like to be with my Nonna," she says, referring to her beloved grandmother. "I'm gonna be in L.A. working, but I really hope that she can come to L.A. I would love that."

In June, Grande said during a Twitter Q&A that Moonlight was far from completion, but that she was optimistic about where it was headed. "i am so f------ happy with everything so far. i’m stoooked," she wrote.
