Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Kesha and Jay-Z were just a few of the artists who entertained live on New Year's Eve 2013, adding that extra oomph to music fans' blowout bashes or low-key hangouts at home. Psy (with M.C. Hammer), Rita Ora, Ne-Yo, Nicki Minaj and Coldplay also celebrated New Year's Eve 2013 with live shows in the N.Y.C. area, but out of all these performers, which one was your favorite to watch on NYE 2013?

While mostly all of these New Year's Eve performers rang in 2013 from New York City, Justin Bieber was busy holding it down for the West Coast. The 'Beauty and a Beat' crooner performed his latest 'Believe' hit from L.A. for 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve,' and even got an assist from Big Sean for 'As Long as You Love Me.'

Meanwhile, across the U.S., Taylor Swift was smooching Harry Styles and singing for her fans in Times Square. The 'Red' chart-topper wore leather and sparkles while belting ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ and ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' in the frigid cold. Closing things out in Times Square were Psy and M.C. Hammer, who teamed up to perform their mashup of 'Gangnam Style' (which Psy swore to retire) and '2 Legit 2 Quit.'

Who else hit the stage in N.Y.C.'s Time Square before the big ball dropped? Carly Rae JepsenPitbull and Flo Rida were also on hand for some end-of-year entertainment, getting the crowd pumped for 2013 with their 2012 hits. To no surprise, Ms. Jepsen played 'Call Me Maybe' live, giving us one last taste of the viral hit (along with 'This Kiss') before the New Year. And Pitbull did what he did best -- got the party started. Mr. 305 had the temperatures rising with his medley of high-energy hits like 'International Love' and 'Hey Baby.' Finally, Flo closed things out with a set of uptempo hits like 'Cry' and 'Whistle.'

Over yonder in Brooklyn, N.Y., Jay-Z was performing live with his buddies in Coldplay at the Barclays Center. While Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion kicked things off with a short set of their own tunes, with Hova later joining them for 'Lost' and 'Heart of the City.' On top of that, Jay performed his own set of 25 songs on New Year's Eve 2013, showing love to the city where he was born and raised.

Meanwhile, at MTV, Kesha, Rita Ora and Ne-Yo performed at the media outlet's Club New Year's Eve bash. The 'Warrior' princess from Tennessee chose to perform her newest single 'C'Mon,' Rita fittingly sang 'How We Do (Party)' to ring in 2013, and Ne-Yo of course had to entertain the masses with his infectious party jam 'Let Me Love You.'

Closing out the whole shebang is Nicki Minaj, who hosted her very own New Year's Eve 2013 celebration at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas. Between costume changes and some champagne popping, the Harajuku Barbie performed a plethora of hits for the Barbz gathered in Sin City. 'Turn Me On,' 'Starships' and 'Moment 4 Life' were just a few of the jams Nicki performed while ringing in 2013.
