Britney Spears + Demi Lovato Kick Off ‘X Factor’ Auditions in Austin

The revamped lineup of 'X Factor' judges made its first appearance today at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, where newcomers Britney Spears and Demi Lovato joined Simon Cowell and LA Reid for the first round of auditions for next season.

Season 2 of 'X Factor' won't begin airing until the fall, but the judging panel will spend the summer seeking out talented vocalists across the country. Pink is the New Blog posted a collection of photos of the judges taken by fans outside the venue.

The new judges looked as beautiful as ever, with Lovato sporting a light green patterned dress and Spears wearing a tight pink dress. They stopped to greet fans and sign autographs on their way inside. Spears also had time to fire off a tweet:

Tryouts in Austin continue tomorrow, with auditions in other cities to follow as the judging panel tries to find quality talent for Season 2 of the show. Season 1 ended in December with the crowning of Melanie Amaro as the first U.S. 'X Factor' winner.
