Britney Spears has a "conspiracy theory" that the paparazzi edit photos of her to make her look bigger.

Over the weekend, images of the pop star surfaced online that see her soaking up the sun in Miami with boyfriend Sam Asghari. The photos do not seem out of the ordinary and are mostly of the couple enjoying some quality time together. However, quickly after they made their way on the web, Spears took to Instagram to share her concerns and accuse the paparazzi of making her look "40 pounds" heavier than she actually is.

“Hello, and please don’t judge me, I look haggard right now," she begins the video, in which she's sporting the same bikini top and bottom she was photographed wearing in the paparazzi photos from the beach.

“A lot of fans, in our world today, they always are subject to really criticize people and say that the pictures and videos that they’re posting are either not on time or they’re fake," she continued.

"But no one ever really asks, ‘Are the paparazzi pictures fake, and do the paparazzi people do stuff to the pictures, and is the news really real?’ It’s a conspiracy theory that I’m actually interested in,” the singer said.

“Yesterday, I went swimming. I look like I’m 40 pounds bigger than I am today. This is how I am right now, and I’m skinny as a needle. You tell me, what is real?” Spears added.

MEGA, the photo agency that released the photos, has since responded to the allegations.

“We think Britney looks great and it’s ludicrous to suggest the photos or video were altered in any way,” a rep told Page Six. “They were not. We shot thousands of photos of her over the weekend and are very happy to let her see the original files if she so wishes. It was good to see her happy and having fun and we wish her well.”

Spears' accusations come weeks after many speculated her father, Jamie Spears, and team were posting old content on her social media to mislead fans into believing she was fine.

At the time, she debunked the rumors by posting a video of herself changing her outfit three times. “For those of you who don’t think I post my own videos, I did this video yesterday, so you’re wrong, but hope you like it," she said.
