Watch Cardi B Freak Out Over Note From Bono

Cardi B has had a wonderful year, and although the rapper didn't go home with any Grammys Sunday night (January 28) — “Bodak Yellow” was nominated for best rap performance and best rap song — she was still one of the most talked about artists of the night, from her colorful performance of "Finesse (Remix)" with Bruno Mars to her hilarious red carpet interviews (yes, she actually said she had butterflies in her vagina).

Cardi may not have taken a golden gramophone home with her, but she didn't leave the ceremony empty-handed. Bono wrote the rising star a letter, proclaiming his love for her music. And, of course, the emcee freaked out over the gift.

She took to Instagram, dressed in her bedazzled Grammys ensemble with voices buzzing in the background, to tell the world about the U2 frontman's kind words in an adorably giddy video.

With a caption that simply reads, "I CANT BELIEVE IT !!" she intensely whispers into the camera, “Oh my god, I got a fucking note from Bono." Adding, “he said I’m the biggest thing in Ireland!”
