Demi Lovato has used her celebrity influence to discourage young women from bullying and attacking others. So when her little half-sister, Madison De La Garza, became the target of mean threats on Twitter, Lovato proved just how serious she is by going on the offensive against Madison's attackers.

Oh No They Didn't chronicles the Twitter drama as follows: After Madison posted the following Vine on her account, many people started making fun of Madison for saying she had a hunchback. In fact, Madison has scoliosis - a medical condition for which one's spine is curved from side to side.

When Demi found out what was going on, she sent angry DMs to people making fun of Madison.

(Warning: NSFW language ahead.)

She even took to her own Twitter account to release this statement: "For anyone telling me to 'chill'. The impact bullies have over the internet can lead people to suicide. I can handle the bullshit. But do NOT fuck with my baby sister. I'm all for peace and spreading love UNTIL you go after a 12 YEAR OLD who did NOTHING to you.. So disappointed that after all the conversation about cyber bullying in this world that people would continue to do this to others. @Maddielovesyou1 you are BEAUTIFUL and the most precious little angel in my life and I will always protect you. I LOVE YOU."

We're glad to see Demi standing up for her sister against what can sometimes be the cruel nature of the Internet!
