Ouch! It sounds like Demi Lovato is still not a big fan of Taylor Swift -- and perhaps not necessarily BFFs with Selena Gomez, with whom she used to be inseparable, either.

Lovato gave an interview to support 'Heart Attack' at a Minnesota radio station, and she dropped a line that may or may not have been referencing Gomez and Swift's high-profile relationships with other stars like Justin Bieber and One Direction's Harry Styles.

The DJ asked Lovato why her fans, affectionately dubbed Lovatics, are so dedicated to her in particular. Lovato's response started out pretty innocuous, but then veered off to giving side eye to other pop stars who flaunt their love lives for publicity and feign perfection.

"A lot of celebrities don't open up to their fans," Lovato said. "They just tell them what they want to hear. They don't really tell them things that can benefit their lives. They just flaunt around a boyfriend to sell a couple albums. That's not what my career is about."

Obviously she's not naming names, but the publicity blitzes behind Jelena and Haylor were really the only huge couplings as of late to make headlines in the pop world, so who else would she really be referencing? (Unless, you know, she was referencing her own disastrous, likely PR-orchestrated relationship with Joe Jonas from back in the day ... but we doubt it.)

Additionally, Lovato has a history of shade-tossing at Gomez and Swift, whose BFF-ship apparently made her feel left behind. C'mon, girls, let's play nice!
