The new Britney Spears hit 'Till the World Ends' takes on an eerie quality in the hands of Doctor Rosen Rosen, who has remixed the track.

Rosen is known for a dark electro-pop sound, and his re-working of 'Till the World Ends' is no different. At nearly five-and-a-half minutes long, Rosen's remix runs quite a bit longer than the album version on 'Femme Fatale.'

The new version opens with what sound like creepy strings, and when the beat finally arrives, it's complemented only by Britney's voice and sporadic flourishes of disjointed synths.

The original song's pulsing chorus actually becomes one of the slowest parts of the remix, with a down-tempo beat and haunting background vocals that add a cinematic effect.

The Los Angeles-based Rosen has remixed the likes of Lady Gaga, Drake, Weezer and La Roux. One of his first remixes that garnered public attention was an edit of the Spears track 'Womanizer.'

As for the original recording of 'Till the World Ends, Spears filmed the video recently, and released the choreographed version on April 6.
