For nearly 30 years, Gwen Stefani—with and without No Doubt—has pushed the limits of pop. Still, with all her success considered, The Voice judge says there's one wall she still could never see herself scaling: Being a contestant on the reality TV singing competition show, herself.

In an interview with Billboard posted today (October 19), the singer, who debuted a brand new song in New York City this weekend, called being a part of the show the "funnest" thing she's ever done...so long as she gets to remain on the judges' side of things.

"I can't imagine doing what they do. I couldn't do it," she admitted. "I mean, the pressure, and then to be having us trying to tell them, 'Okay and then you can do this and you can do that,' taking in all that information and trying to make it happen on a live TV show. It's a lot. They do really good."

Stefani will take a break from a show when the current season ends, and whether she'll proceed to hit the studio or just enjoy being a mom, she said she's not allowing herself to get stressed.

"I don't have any plans for the future," she shared. "In fact, my whole thing right now is not thinking about the past or the future and, like, being right here, right this second, because it's so great right now. It's such a great, amazing time."
