Hayden Panettiere Welcomes Baby Girl

Congratulations are in order for 'Nashville' star Hayden Panettiere and her fiance, Wladimir Klitschko! Us Weekly has confirmed reports that Panettiere gave birth to her first child on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Panettiere and Klitschko welcomed a baby girl named Kaya, who arrived weighing in at 7 lbs. and 4 oz.

In November, Panettiere revealed to Hello! magazine that she was looking forward to being a mother. “I’m so ready to hold my baby girl — I’m going to be a very hands on mom. I’m thrilled that I am having a girl first because I feel like I know a lot about raising a strong woman. I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too.”

Panettiere's pregnancy was first rumored at the end of May but it wasn't until the 2014 Emmys that she confirmed that she was an expecting mother.
