It might seem surprising, since Jennifer Lopez has been around for over 20 years, but 2014 is definitely the year of Jenny from the Block. The Latina has created a seriously impressive and diverse empire, and with her eighth studio album about to drop, there’s no doubt her brand will only continue to grow.

The 44-year-old graced the cover of Billboard this month in a sexy red leotard and matching stilettos, looking absolutely incredible and proving once again that she is simply unstoppable. Despite recent setbacks and rumors in her personal life — including her split from her boyfriend of over two years, Casper Smart, and the whisperings of a potential new beau in her former ‘Dancing With the Stars’ partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy — the singer is surging forward and owning the music scene with her upcoming album ‘A.K.A.’ If her recent single ‘First Love’ and its accompanying music video are anything to go by, J. Lo is better than ever. Her voice and her body are on point.

When she isn’t busy promoting her latest studio effort, the chart-topper spends her time juggling her multitude of other projects. There are honorable mentions in her wildly successful fragrance line, which has earned almost $2 billion since 2002; her Kohl’s clothing line; her producer and cable programming credits for ABC Family’s ‘The Fosters’ and Nuvo TV, respectively; and the authorship of her first memoir due out this fall. Let’s not forget she’s also a mom to her 6-year-old twins, Max and Emme.

So what’s left for her to conquer in 2015? She’ll be earning multiple acting credits, including Rob Cohen’s thriller ‘The Boy Next Door’ and the animated film ‘Home,’ which also stars the voice of Rihanna. There’s a possible concert documentary on the horizon, and if her manager Benny Medina has any say, we could even see more new music. “I’d like for her to start working on some Christmas songs for an album in ’15,” he shared.

There's no rest in sight for this unconquerable businesswoman.
