Exciting news for John Green fans: The movie adaption of 'Paper Towns' officially has a director!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, NYU graduate Jake Schreier will direct the upcoming film. Schreier previously directed the drama 'Robot & Frank.'

As we previously reported, earlier this year 'Paper Towns' was green-lit, with Green signing on as an executive producer. 'The Fault in Our Stars' actor Nat Wolff will once again team up with the author, this time as a young man with a harrowing secret in 'Towns.'

Green himself confirmed the news via Twitter:

No release date has been confirmed for 'Paper Towns,' although IMDB hints it might drop next year. Nevertheless, fans are already anticipating the film! "Paper Towns" was a trending topic on Twitter, with many users tweeting about their favorite John Green book heading to the big screen:

While we're still drying our tears from the movie adaption of 'The Fault in Our Stars,' we have a feeling this film is going to be equally as spectacular.
