Mariah Carey Shares Personal Photo From Weekend Baby Shower

Last weekend, Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon hosted a "Pink and Blue" baby shower for their twins-on-the-way, as they are expecting both a girl and a boy come late April/early May.

As we reported earlier this week, Carey posted a heartfelt message on her website, sincerely thanking her fans for the gifts, including a book of letters for the babies titled 'Always Be My Babies Lamb Book.'

Well now the singer is giving back a little more to her loyal fans, courtesy of Life & Style magazine. Carey and Cannon released one of their personal photos from their beautiful baby shower, showing a very pregnant Carey and a loving Cannon hovering over his glowing wife.

The intimate baby shower consisting of close friends and family, was held on Sunday, March 6, at the rooftop Conservatory Grill at the Montage hotel.

“I’d never been to a baby shower,” Carey reveals to the magazine. “This was my first one — it was so festive!”

Guests in attendance for the shower included ‘American Idol’ judge Randy Jackson, host Piers Morgan, actress-director Penny Marshall, ‘Sopranos’ alum Lorraine Bracco and director Brett Ratner. Food served included a fine selection of gourmet pizzas and appetizers, while Carey’s own Angel champagne was served as the beverage of choice.

“Nick and I were so grateful to everyone who came to celebrate with us,” Carey says. “There was a lot of love in the room. It was a night I will never forget.”
