Much like the month of March itself, #NewMusicFriday came in like lion on March 2, bringing with it a stream of music videos and singles—some quite unexpected!—from superstars like Pink, Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Iggy Azalea and more.

In what was probably the most exciting (and surprising) release, Beyonce returned with a fiery rap verse (!!!) on DJ Khaled's new single, "Top Off," also featuring Jay-Z and Future.

Pink shared the music video for "Whatever You Want"—the latest single off her new album—filmed while she was on tour.

Carrie Underwood also dropped a new pop-leaning track, teaming up with hip-hop icon Ludacris on "The Champion," as heard on NBC’s Super Bowl LII and during the XXIII Winter Olympic Games.

Flo Rida returned this week as well, dropping his country-tinged song "Dancer," the video for which features and celebrates strip club dancers with big dreams.

Demi Lovato and Luis Fonsi, meanwhile, teamed up for another go at their hit "Échame la Culpa," this time with an English remix of the track called "Not on Me."

Dipping into Top 40 pop's Latin trend, Iggy Azalea released the neon-hued music video for "Savior," featuring Migos rapper Quavo. (Romeo + Juliet director Baz Luhrmann would approve.)

Country star Kacey Musgraves shared "Space Cowboy," the shimmering, emotional lead single off her upcoming album, Golden Hour.

In case you missed it, Meghan Trainor also made her return with yet another sassy pop song called "No Excuses."

Finally, on a more comedic note, Weird Al Yankovic also released a new tune this week: a Hamilton parody track called "The Hamilton Polka."
