Nicki Minaj Could Join Britney Spears Tour – Gossip Report
Britney Spears is apparently wasting no time replacing Enrique Iglesias on her summer tour. TMZ reports that Spears and Nicki Minaj are in "serious talks" to bring the colorful rapper on board as Brit's opening act.
The site claims that talks are going well and a confirmation could come in a day or two. Minaj has been one of the most exciting hip-hop stars of the past year and would seem to have a lot to gain in terms of growing her fan base by appearing with Spears.
The team-up would work logistically since Britney's tour doesn't start until June, and Minaj's current tour with Lil Wayne wraps up at the end of April.
Earlier this week, Spears said on 'Good Morning America' that she would be touring with Iglesias, but the Latin star pulled out of the tour shortly after that announcement.
